I've stayed at Wekiwa Springs a couple of times but many years ago. It is, or at least was, a very nice campground. It has a spring area for swimming almost like a pool. The water is cold about 68-70 degrees year round. Plenty of trees.
Kelly Park ,a county park, not too far away is also very nice. I prefer that one mainly for the spring run you can ride down on inner tubes or air mattresses. Tubes are available for rent outside the park. It gets really crowded on week ends, as does Wekiwa Springs. The campground is small but nice.
