We stayed at Rustic RV several years ago, and enjoyed it at a reasonable price.

We stayed at Mountainside KOA last September. It is about 10 miles west of town and has sections with larger sites. Nice views and good management. And it is close to Idaho for side trips.

And we had the same problem with Grizzly-- almost full and we would have had to move each night.

Yes, too bad. They are right in town and the town has a lot to offer, great place.

X2 for Grizzly but did you search for West Yellowstone in the RV parks section?

Grizzly RV is definitely well worth, but we prefer FS CGs and stay at Baker's Hole, just 2 miles north of WY. First come, first serve, so while at Grizzly we head over with our TV to Baker's Hole early and talk to the host. They let us know which sites are expected to vacate and we grab one, pay for it, put our name on the pole and head back to Grizzly for our FW. It's worked for us every time.

BTW, we've also stayed at West Yellowstone KOA and Red Rock, but Red Rock sites are close, quiet out there, but close. Hubby didn't like it there.

X-2 on Bakers Hole, great little CG if you can do without Full hookups.

Baker's Hole is one of our favorites too but just to suggest another option although this would add some driving.....Red Rock Canyon in Idaho(about 15-17 miles to the West Entrance to YSNP). Great Campground off the beaten path near Henry's Lake. I just got an E-mail from them indicating a change in ownership and many upgrades they've done. Might be worth a look.

We stayed there years ago and had a great time and the drive wasn't all that bad!

I forgot to mention that most sites have electricity and there is a water fill station.
