North of Waterbury - just off CT-8 - in Thomaston is Branch Brook CG. The CG is actually located on US-6. About 8-9 miles from I-84 up to Thomaston.
We stayed there for two months last year while our volunteer spot with the COE was not ready. Nice folks, and they do have some overnight spots.
