What are the best spots to camp in Texas in Winter?

We are planning to go down to Texas during the winter and are wondering where the great spots to camp are located. We love to be by water and beaches when we can, love National and State Parks, COE c...

If, by "Lower part", you mean the Rio Grande Valley area, then the answer is "no". Like others have said, every hundred miles north of there will bring a significant change. There was a little snow in 2004 and a skim of ice in 2010. Much warmer than Austin or Dallas, for examples.
