What are the best spots to camp in Texas in Winter?

We are planning to go down to Texas during the winter and are wondering where the great spots to camp are located. We love to be by water and beaches when we can, love National and State Parks, COE c...

If spending the weekend in San Antonio in a C, I have seen many times people parking their C on the E Commerce St. bridge right between the Marriott River Center and Marriott River Walk hotels, downtown SA. Free parking Saturday and Sunday. They show up late Friday night and stay until Sunday. It's not 100% level left to right but is front to rear. You're right on the river and a block from the Alamo. A few have ran their generators while parked there.

No slide outs, no awning, just park.
