Most of the Mission folks are just layed back and enjoying life. As stated there are flea markes and lots of them. There are birding centers. There are jam sessions all around. And I think mostly there is a lot of eating establishments. Movie houses. Mexico is just a few miles. A few miles down the road is South Padre Island. Corpus Christi is a short drive and you can tour the Lexington ship. If you can stand the wind and dust you will enjoy every minute of it.
You seem to keep posint a question as to must be something good. why don't you tell us what you like to do and we can tell you if it is in the area. That would be much easier.
