We're fulltime 9 years. Our plan when we started is what we've been doing since then. We volunteer about 8 months a year 4-5 in the south in the winter and 3-4 somewhere cool up north. DW and I both volunteer usually 24 hr each wife prefers interpretive work and I do maintainance. But there are many job that are available, clerical, visitor centers. Nice part is meeting people with simular interests. We did take one winter off and planned to drive I10 from Jacksonville to Quartzsite stopped at all the Escapee parks along the way as well as several state parks and USACE parks.
