I always call ahead and make reservations, but you can put me in that crowd of reserving a CG place and not showing or cancelling. I reserved one for Memorial Day around Boerne, Tx. I was a no show, no call to cancel. The problem was the very heavy intense rains, high winds and several tornadoes up there with rivers and roads flooded badly. My teenage son and co-pilot didn't want to go because he had a "feeling". Glad I listened to him. I still got charged for not cancelling in advance. Better safe than sorry. Did our "Q" in our back yard and still drank my cold beer though.
