We mostly stay at SP, NP, NF. Make reservations online, pick the exact site you want, and that's the site you get.
KOA: We generally stay at KOA campgrounds for overnight stays while traveling. I reserve online. The prices don't change, the cancellation policy is clearly stated, and I've rarely been surprised or unhappy with what I got. (I do wish I could pick my exact site though. I often want something very specific for my own reasons - such as to be near the wash house.)
