While my favorite National Park is Glacier in Montana, both for hiking & the wonderful Going to the Sun road. I also love Canyonlands, the Tetons, and, although a long way away, Teklanika Campground in Denali National Park. I have lots of photos from all of them on my State & National Parks pages.
Speaking of state parks, there are many that are just as beautiful as the National Parks, often near by. A few I recommend are Ricketts Glen in PA, Red Rock Canyon in CA, Valley of Fire in NV and Goblin Valley in UT. All have campgrounds.
