If there are no signs posted, and there are other RVs already parked, instead of looking for somebody to get "permission"from, I just join the crowd.
beyond standing in line at the service desk, I would specifically avoid seeking any management out in a case like this. They have better things to do that bless your overnight stay. The corporate policy is clear, the specific locations where it's not allowed are usually heavily posted, and determining it it's acceptable is usually pretty obvious. Unless you pull off the road before 3PM, you probably won't be the first one to drop anchor.
