There is a lot to do around Gettysburg:
The Gettysburg Battlefield Visitors Center
Walk around the town of Gettysburg
Hike around the Gettysburg Battlefield
There is a neat craft place that has locally grown food right near the battlefield whose name escapes me.
There are a few farm markets along US15 worth going to.
If you like antiques, visit New Oxford, Abbotstown and Hanover, which are E on US30.
The Appalachian Trail is about 8 miles W of Gettysburg on US30 along with the Appalachian Trail Museum.
There is a theater of some sort along US30 W of Gettysburg that puts on plays.
There is an outlet mall on US15 E of Gettysburg.
There are about a half dozen campgrounds in and around Gettysburg. Check them all out and compare.
