It started when people realized that stopping at McDonalds was easier than slaughtering a cow, dressing it out, and turning it into hamburger yourself! So they started expecting and paying for such luxury. Folks simply don't want, or like any kind of "hardship." And quite frankly, why should they? So, RV manufacturers build what the majority want, because that's what sells, and that's what make stockholders and CEO's happy!
