I suspect this thread will go the way of the "stealth camping" thread.
RVs are built so you can use them however you want. If you want to dry camp and forego hookups, then have at it. If you want hookups, then have at it. Stop worrying about the other guy and just live your own life.
And yes, the OP was being judgmental, pompous and condescending in his original post. Comments like "they should just stay home" because someone chooses to always use hookups is all of that.
