ohhell10339, As many have stated ....to each his own. There are so many reasons to RV, there’s probably not enough room on the internet :B to cover them all. Though I do understand you take on the topic of camping, rv’ing, etc.
For us it’s a blend of several reasons. We have no desire to move from our home....though our neighbors are far too close (about 500 yards to the closest). We RV to see America (possibly Canada) from the comfort of our “rolling home” ....which is much nicer than many motels. Plus....we “dine” knowing what we’re eating and were it came from! When we boondock in the remote areas (whether for hunting, fishing, or just being out), we have all the comforts of home. No it’s not camping.... but we’ve spent those nights of near zero temps in a tent. We like a warm bed, hot shower....and “not” worrying about the tent coming down during a heavy snow. And occasionally we have to stay in an RV park. Sometimes to only dump the tanks, fill with fresh water, and use that washing machine and dryer we carry around with us! Other time the RV park is the only option to see or do something near a large city (museum, NASCAR, Disney, whatever), though being stacked like “cordwood” in a park....is as close to “hell” as we want to be!
Though not a tent, for us this is camping!
