Other than that, my biggest worry about boondocking is that something will go wrong and I won't be able to get back out of nowhere.
My last trip, the gps took me into nowhere land. I ended up parking by a lake (I had no idea where I was) at dusk and hoping there'd be people around tomorrow. I had just lost one of my fuel tanks that week before I left and was very concerned about running out on the one tank before I found civilization. I had travelled several hours in and didn't know how long it would take to get back out.
Then I was worried I'd pull off the road/trail onto soft loam and not be able to get the RV out. And there was no cell reception. There were people in the morning and while the gps was telling me my only way out was to go off road, they were able to give me much easier instructions. It was a bit nervewracking, but I made it fine. Might try boondocking with other people first next time. Get more confident before I wander off on my own.
