Oh, and I have never been at a loss to find affordable camping opportunities. Of course, I may not be able to stay everywhere at a poor man's price, but there is no problem finding a place because another person chooses to have full hookups.
You argue that you want to be able to camp where you want at your preferred price range and in your preferred style. Well, you can until you start demanding that business owners choose your way over a profit. They have the right to charge what they want. If you don't like it, then find another place. It is not their responsibility to financially support your camping preference.
