When did boondocking become weird?

Gee, and here we've been camping all these years to see the sights. ;) Every summer, we travel all over the western US to see various National Parks or other scenic attractions. We try to camp in those parks when possible and in NFS CG's in between.

Actually, I find that rather fits in my definitions. You're camping to see the sights of the wilderness rather than to see the sights of a city or urban area. :)

We camp to do almost all of our travelling. We've visited the likes of Washington DC, Boston, Williamsburg, Charleston, Savannah, Tucson, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver BC and many cities in between from a campsite nearby (mostly SP's and county parks). When visiting these far flung areas, I try to soak in everything, from culture to architecture to food to the diverse biota we don't encounter here in CO.
