You may get ill and not be able to travel anywhere, your insurance may be too high to travel or you or your spouse might die.
Screw the exchange rate and go. We save $250 a month on our winter heat back home, we cancel our cell phone plans and get a phone down south and that saves another $100 a month. Beer is cheaper than water in Canada and gas is a bargain. We may not eat at restaurants as often or we might skip happy hour at the bar but we're still spending this winter in the sunshine. No idea how many winters we have left but this will be a good one.
Now that's the spirit!!!!!
