My point is that the park we go to has been raising rent each year at a fairly good clip(we spent 5 winters there, and had a break to do yacht club office duties). So last year when we were there for a week to book this winter, I was told by Canadians that they would not be returning. It is not just the Canadian dollar it is also the increases that everyone has to pay. So if they were offered a discount to return when the rent increase effect all of the snowbirds, then I think we have a right to complain!
Parks that have two rent schedules depending on where you are from are most likely NOT going to have inclusive happy campers! There is already a certain amount of friction with non English speaking snowbirds from North of the border.
We boated in the Pacific NW into Canada for years and never thought that we should be special in regards to the much higher food and fuel prices. Maybe we should have asked for a discount because we were from America???
