No drop in Canadians here in Mexico that I can tell, I am in Tachos RV park in Puerto Vallarta and it is almost full, Mainly with Quebecers. Unlike some parks they are not gouging by pricing in US dollars like some others. They are still charging 350 pesos a night ($20 US) I am guessing the exchange rate is the cause of the drop in the US. The peso has not changed against the Canadian dollar in 3 years, as it also is an oil based economy. I suspect a lot of Canadians are skipping the Fall in the SW or SE and will just settle for 3 months after Christmas to help cut costs.
Its psychological, people can afford it, but that is powerful. IF I owned a SW RV Park, I would be offering something like an 85 - 90 cent exchange rate to overcome that. Better to take a little less and be full up.
