Where can I camp next to a beautiful lake or river?

I often see photos of people camping within 40 feet of a beautiful fishing lake nestled in the mountains or a gentle stream running a dozen yards from their front doors, but I don't know where to actu...

X3 on COE parks. Also, many state parks have waterfront sites. We travel in a 35 foot 5th wheel and have stayed in plenty of beautiful waterfront sites.
