This is the picture I took around 5pm and sent to my brother. Late that night it started raining lightly. About 3am it was pouring but nothing looked out of the ordinary.
Those pictures was taken around 6am when I woke up. I have seen reports stating anywhere from 6-10 inches of rain that night. Sorry but I went to sleep. Enjoy your high horse.
No high horse. I have been in flood prone areas before. So many CGs are. The land is cheap there.
Recently in the Smokey Mtn gave me reason to keep an eye on the river that flows through the CG. Heavy rain then long period of moderate rain was enough for the river to rise a few feet & warrant a walk in the rain every so often to keep an eye on it with getting out in time in mind.
