Well, our plans to go out west from Florida this summer fell apart due to a family thing. Sigh, maybe next year. Sooooo......change of plans.....we are looking to explore the east coast again this...

Try Philpot Lake in VA, a Corps of Eng. Park out of Bassett VA.
near many historical areas plus DC. Or Rough River Camp Grounds in KY, A beauty, near the older history areas of politics and distileries,, and the best of the lot we were in was Seminole State Park in GA, it is located on the GA,FL, AL. corner. The peanut capitol of the USA and so much to see also close to the western section of FL.
All of these my wife and I have volunteered at and enjoyed the history of the whole areas.
