- Lawgirl11ExplorerI also need to learn how to reply to one person. Is there instructions on using this site?I want to send a private message to a member. Thanks
- Lawgirl11ExplorerThank you all for these suggestions. We are getting so excited to venture out in our new home. Never drove anything so big so we are a little scared. Are they hard to get use to?

But it's not the warmest in the winter. Where I live in FL the average Jan high is 74, low of 64. I see Yuma is at 70 and low of 46--brrrr. - LaurenExplorerWell said, Bob.
- soricobobExplorerEverything is relative, and it depends on your interests. That being said; the Southeastern states are close together, have excellent choices for food, shopping, weather, shoreline, historical, etc. The Gulf states have a regional flavor that transcends everything else, and very historical, unique economy, and shorelines of Gulf, rivers, and swamps. The Southwest has the desert, the mountains, the wide open spaces, the unique food, and interesting people. Each areas have RV parks which cater to retirees, and you might find bargains for a monthly stay. I would not plan more than a month at a place, because you want to explore alternatives. Perhaps concentrating on a geographical area of the country each of the first few years, and then narrow it down after that.

Paul - doxiluvrExplorer IIKerrville, Texas (The Hill Country) is very nice. Lots of RV parks there and if you like it warmer, you can go to South Texas area with a short drive over to the Gulf of Mexico.
