At those three resorts, the only way to know you are in the desert is if someone tells you. They are all completely covered with grass, palm trees, water features, flowers etc. The entire Palm Springs area is literally an oasis. There isn't a better spot to winter if your tastes run to culture, shopping, golf, dining etc. And you don't get the traffic of the coastal cities. If it gets too hot, take the tram up to the top of the mountains. Right now there is plenty of snow to give you your winter fix.

so far only one has replied - are were unpleasant when i mentioned that on their site one of the emails was not working.
i doubt they are RV parks as such - just a place to sell tiny real estate! my still go.
