About to finally buy a TT & want to stay at an oceanfront campground within 6 hours of Asheville, NC where we live. We considered outer banks but 9 hours is far for us! Edisto Island has no vacancie...

Try to get on the lake at Cascade, otherwise it isn't all that special. We have a favorite spot there that we get every year.
Lots more to do around Cascade than there is at Devil's Fork. Jocassee is awesome though, if you have a boat or can paddle A LOT.
