Tents are good too. So are popups and much cheaper than a travel trailer, easier to tow as well. We have friends that bought a used Aliner and love it. The hard sides and top fold out and let them have AC. It's like a folding travel trailer only easier on the fuel because of its low profile when in travel mode. Here's their site
