Huntington has the best beach, probably best in SC. It it is huge. It is close to MB if you are in to that type of thing.
Edisto is known for the shells. Two campgrounds. One along the beach, the other about a mile away and you travel a state road to get their. Neither has full hookups. The one dump station is on the state road, not in either of the campgrounds.
Hunting Island is beautiful but the ocean is claiming the island back. They have lost about 80 campsites to the ocean. When walking the beach at lower tides you can see remnants of the lost campsites.
