I've never stayed there, but I've been there. On a motorcycle ride. Labelle was about far enough. Like Bill B. it seemed desolate. And I prefer the rural/natural settings. But it's just out there in the middle of vast farm fields.
Everything in Florida is measured in "How far to the beach". I'd get something closer to the ocean. AND I would lay eyes on a park before I made an extended reservation. There's enough parks that keep spaces open for "overnighters" that you don't really need a reservation. Though by Nov. the prime spots are taken.
If you have to make reservations, Imperial Bonita Estates is $500/mo. until Jan. 1st. And Indian Creek usually has a fall special for $189/mo. for the first month. That'll give you time to look around.
