As a former resident of Labelle, I can state from experience that the area is rural. If you are the type of campers the need to be entertained, this is not for you.
If not, you will not find any nicer folks running a campground. It is family owned, and more importantly, family operated.
As to the naysayers, if it was so bad it would not survived and doubled in size that past 30 years. Perhaps it just not the type of camping YOU wanted, I can respect that, but many folks love it and return year after year.
I am not associated with Whisper Creek in any way, although I was one of their vendors years ago and got to know the family and the campground well.
