Greer is around 8,500' and as noted all of the CG's in the area are closed. They usually shut down with the first snowfall after Labor Day but not later than October first. They reopen in late April or by May first. Just outside of Greer our favorite is the Rolf C Hoyer CG which is a large USFS facility that is gorgeous. They have hot showers, flush toilets and a dump station and are located just a short hike (or drive), from several lakes, the Little Colorado River and Benny Creek. Rigs are limited in size, I think 32' or 36' is the maximum.
The CG is in a dense Ponderosa Pine forrest and there is abundant wildlife. They do have just a couple of sites with electricity available if you have a medical need such as a CPAP machine but the rest of the sites do not have electricity. There are potable water spigots scattered throughout the CG along with vault toilets in addition to the plumbed facilities out near the entrance. Hoyer is one of our favorite summer destinations to beat the heat in Tucson and as such reservations are usually a good idea in the summer (high season), months. :C
