I just got the itch to start heading north. Must not be the only one since the park is beginning to empty. Makes me wonder if we're not like those birds that we're compared to. Who else feels the urge to start the slow migration.I suppose if you put the pedal to the metal and get back in 4-5 days that urge might not exist. For those that vacation their way back north, when is your expected departure date.

It's 27 degrees and breezy in south central Pennsylvania.You may want to wait another week. :(

We will leave the park on the 21st of this month and arrive home on the 22nd of next month.

We're heading for home on March 12th. Would have liked to stay until the end of March but the campground rates change on the 14th for spring/Easter and combined with the exchange rate on the Canadian dollar, it simply becomes not worth it.

I was outside enjoying the warm spring day in Northern Neck VA two days ago. There was a steady stream of geese doing just that - heading North...This morning the Temp on my North window read 24 degrees... It almost 9AM now and it is only up to 33 degrees outside now... Yes yes yes. We're heading 300 miles north to hill country in 2 weeks where we will stay for ANOTHER MONTH. Hopefully the weather will improve back home by the end of April.

We've had enough sun and perfect weather, and are heading home to Illinois next week. The weather is turning, spring is coming, and we have stuff to do at home.

If you are from the midwest and east, it looks good starting next week.

Looks like mid- to late April for us, taking the slow route through Las Vegas. Sometimes even that's too early.

It is expected to be 98 degrees here today in Palmview Texas, 20's tonight in northern MN. We will decide sometime early May when to head home. Hill Country would be a good compromise though if it don't cool down here.

We had to come home early to Vancouver Island due to a death in the family. Weather here is not very nice and we would much rather be enjoying the sun and our friends down south. Stay there if you are having fun.

Record setting temps here in the Coachella Valley. It was 94 here yesterday. Definitely time for some of that wet fifty degree weather on the Wa. Coast.

Did that ONCE. Never again. Just too many changes of running into ice or snow storms. Not anywhere where I want to be in a MH towing.

National Weather Service, Noaa says 93 for a high this afternoon in Alamo, Texas. Here in the middle of the RGV it is already 87 degrees at noon. 83 tomorrow. Beats 43 back in Illinois.

That was my first pick also, but everything was pretty much booked up when I called around there. Guess more then just a few of us snowbirds are thinking along those lines.

Might head up to the COE's north of Ft. Worth instead. Nice thing about Texas is it's so large you got options when it comes to snow birding.
