Why hardly any posts?
Here it is our first winter of retirement and it's like this section has died. I was hoping to learn all kinds of things, is everybody gone to a different site/forum? There have been days at a time ...

I tend to agree with you Huckleberry Hunter. I too use facebook, but it is mostly for our family.
It is strange about family. You are very close as younsters. Then you grow up. Cousins scatter accross the earth. You marry, have a family, the family grows up and gets busy with their lives, and VIOLA! you are back to your cousins again. I have cousins fron one end of this country to theother. I could make a career of just visiting cousins. We also have to factor in age. Sometimes as we age, we tend to not care so much about things like this. Maybe I am here because We have no other family close by and we dont really live close to neighbors. You can only read so many books and make so many machine embrodiery patterns.

BTW, We are going to be at the KOA in Goosecreek SC on the 24, 25 and coming home on the 26th. Taekwando tournment there for our little one.
