Willow Beach, AZ - Info needed

Considering visiting the RV park on the Colorado River. The RV park is supposed to be fairly new with full hook ups. Great Striper fishing, rental boats, not far from Hoover Dam and Lake Mojave.

Any info on this place besides what I described? Anyone ever visit and can share first hand knowledge?

Those who have traveled to this area......

What is best route in terms of good roads, traffic, and overall travel time?

Leaving from the Beaumont area and was wondering which route is preferred.....

1. 10 East to 95 north at Quartzite and then 40 East to 93 north to Willow Beach

or

2. 15 North to 40E to 93 north

or


3. 15 north to just before Vegas and head east on 93 towards Henderson and the down to Willow Beach

    We had a brief visit to Willow Beach in February 2016 as it was the take out point for a river raft ride we took from The Hoover Dam.
    This is limited help but I can say facilities appeared very new and bathrooms were clean,the store stocked and well staffed. We did not go into or stay at the campground.

    I-15 north to I-215 in Vegas to US93 in Henderson and US93 to Willow Beach would be the simplest route.
    Be advised that the road from US93 to Willow Beach is poor.

    I'm guessing most don't know where Beaumont is. From Temecula, I've used variations of both going over the Hoover Dam & going thru 29 Palms to get to Parker and up. In all cases, I've messed around at other places along the way. I'd probably go up Cajon Pass & over the dam if I was doing a straight shot to Willow Beach. Stripper fishing there is supposed to be extraordinary, but stories are a bit misleading. When I used to do such things, strippers were best pursued after dark just after a trout plant. Unless you really know your stuff, hire a fishing guide. It's been a decade since I fished, but I had much better luck at Silverwood, Skinner or Diamond Valley than the river. Willow beach is much, much prettier than those impoundments. We once took our boat right up to the bouyed area below the dam, than all the way down to Katherine's Landing. Good times!

    They are one in the same. Marina and RV Park bith at Willow Beach. Considering going in the next week or two. Yes, summers are HOT!

    I'll be leaving from near Riverside, CA which is about 60 miles East of LA. I'll be getting on 15 north from the 15/210 junction.

    From Riverside than I would just use I-15 into Vegas and take 215 to 95 than over the dam to Willow Beach, I go there a lot to boat and such, not much else there to do but its close to Vegas, the RV park is OK but not fancy, boating is OK if the wind is not blowing, that area is subject to lots of wind, watch the water level, when they slow the water coming out of the dam the water level can drop 3 foot in one hour and people have had there boat on dry land after beaching and going for a hike, when they do lower the level fast than the beaches just become mud and no where to beach the boat without getting muddy or losing your shoes in the mud, I know this from experience, I hope you don't just plan to do only Willow Beach for all that drive, you can see everything there in one day, like I said not much else there to do but a short drive you can go to the sky walk over Grand Canyon.

    OK perhaps I should have said LA Area traffic. Riverside vs Beaumont makes route #3 even shorter.

    FYI for those of you that haven't been on US93 in this area for a few years... US93 no longer goes over the Hoover Dam, there is a new bridge that bypasses the dam and all the curvy roads to and from it.
