A lot of railroad history at this old station, and a beautiful restoration.
It is your wife's birthday. SPLURGE. Go to La Posada. The food is wonderful and the presentation of the food is amazing. A truly great restaurant with great atmosphere. Heck, abandon the RV and stay overnight in the hotel. You will not regret it.
The best dining and hotel experiences we had on a 3 week trip to many states a few years ago.
I repeat - take her to dinner at La Posada. She will remember that birthday treat for a very long time!
