- blangenExplorerAs was stated in the article, it'll run off more people before the 31 day mark than what it will collect in revenue. I, personally, will make sure I'm there less than 31 days. Be careful, Nevada... you're about to shoot yourself in the foot.
- BarbaraOKExplorerAnd park owners in Bullhead City, Arizona will be more than happy to have you come and stay and take a launch across the river to gamble! Another short sighted (and stupid) state legislator who thinks they have the solution to the budget problems of the state.
Barb - Francesca_KnowlExplorerEighteen bucks a year for each vehicle, and seven for each (old) person. That's fifty bucks for a couple with a moho/toad combo.
Hard to believe folks would rather go back north in January than spend such a pittance, but I s'pose some might. - RCMAN46ExplorerIt snows in Nevada. This is one snowbird that definitely will not spend more than 30 days in Nevada. Governments are some of the most stupid identities on the face of the planet. Then they allow illegals to live in their state and even give them welfare, drivers licenses and free education. Go figure.

"Up north"? Maybe not. Across the state line? The odds are much better. - BarbaraOKExplorer

Across the river from the casinos in Laughlin are lots of RV Park owners in Bullhead City that will welcome their money. Not to mention the areas in California and Arizona that have reservation casinos and lots and lots of RV Parks for snowbirds.:B - sh410ExplorerUnder the current Nevada law, If you are in the state for 30 days you must register your vehicle(s) in Nevada. If you don't your in for a serious fine and the cost of registering and plates.
This proposed law makes it cheaper for snowbirds to stay in Nevada and avoid the registration and/or fines. - blangenExplorer

Just a thought... I could easily be wrong but I'm thinking that thirty day to register law is for someone moving to Nevada... ie: no longer living in another domicile state with properly registered vehicle and address. - midnightsadieExplorer IIjust who is going to inforce the law? and how you gonna prove I been there over 30 days.

The rental contract at the campground you are in? Or getting a ticket for something and staying in the same area for over a month?
Easier to just avoid the state.
Fred.
