I am in the cal. desert near Indio. It is hot as the blazes here. Thinking about moving and looking for suggestions on a place for the winter where the weather is nice but not as hot as H#ll. Thinking...

Sounds like a nice place - to stay - *AND* sell (you) an almost irrevocable membership - with enough strings attached to make it impossible to sell to someone else.
While you're doing the search - search *ALL* the info available about Silent Valley Club - not just the club web site!.:W
