Or you could spend the winter a bit further east on the Alabama gulf coast near Gulf Shores. Many campgrounds around here and lots to see and do. Escapees has a nice park (Rainbow Plantation) on County Rd 28 west of AL 59. It's nicely located between Foley & Fairhope and between Mobile & Pensacola as well. I'm not a golfer but I hear that the Robert Trent Jones golf trail is nice with one course near Mobile - - and there are other courses around Mobile and Baldwin counties as well.
