Winter Settlers at Fort Wilderness
I am planning on staying in Fort Wilderness for 6 weeks this Jan and Feb 2014. Has anyone else done this and how did you like it. Any comments or suggestions

- We loved our stay at Ft. Wilderness and if you're planning to visit the theme parks staying at Ft. Wilderness is a convenient way of doing it with the benefits of staying at a Disney resort. But I have to think that in a week you could do all you wanted to do at the parks and then find a much less expensive place to stay to enjoy the other attractions in the Orlando area...

- Ignoring the approximate 4,000 cost and what else you could do for that same amount of money, I think you may have trouble getting a spot for that long. I just input 1/2/14-2/1/14 and no campsites were available! You have to call to reserve a site for longer than 30 days. It can't be done online. Personally, I would probably need a rubber room if I stayed at the mouse house for that long!! :B
