Red Coconut is about $100 per day and packed tight. You can be less than five miles from the beach at Imperial Bonita Estates for a whole lot less.
There is only one road out of Red Coconut,and at peak season traffic travels at a snail's pace. What you gain by being literally beside the sea, you will lose in time to go anywhere. From IBE, it is a straight shot to Bonita Beach Park
We spent one month at Fort Myers RV Park right on US 41 and visited every park for miles around. For us, IBE was the perfect blend of location, price, and activities (over 80). Contact me for a list of parks, addresses, and phone numbers.
