When I looked into it I found that storage for a MH to be 'really' inexpensive in the south. I guess they know they will be full up and can offer lower rates compared to up North.
I also found that the good ones are fenced AND have a person living in an RV on the lot to watch over the customers stored RV's
The other alternative I found to be a good deal and safe is CG's. Most have an area for stored RV's. Managers on site and filled with campers make for a pretty safe place that thief's don't want to frequent.
What I did was find a nice CG and stay there for a couple of days to watch how the CG operates. If it looks good THEN go up and ask for the rate to store your RV.
