Wintering around DFW area?
Does anyone winter in the DFW area? I have friends and family in the area and thought about spending a month.

As noted above, you just never know about the weather. Here 30 miles north of Dallas it was 75 last Saturday afternoon, 17 Sunday morning, and 12 Monday morning. Back into the 50's during the week, and 70's today and tomorrow.
January and February will average 2-3 winter storms, usually sleet and freezing rain rather than a good snow. But "average" means some years there will be no winter storms, and other years there may be 4 or 5. But it can be golf weather 2 days before a storm and again 2-3 days after a storm.
