wintering in Texas State Parks?
Does anyone stay the winter in State Parks in Texas? And do they let you stay longer than 2 weeks. We want to go south next winter but we hate RV parks! We would not even mind moving a few times if we...

Pretty sure there is a 2-week max. There is here at Goose Island SP. Allot of winter texans stop there and do the 2 weeks then move to a RV Park that they have reservations for. There is another TX State Park @ Mustang Island. Also a county park in Port-A and I am not sure if it has a max-stay.
