Well, I attended the ARRL Ham Radio Annual QuartzFest. It's on the south side of town, at mile marker 99, on the West side of the highway. I had a tremendous amount of fun attending the event, the seminars, the Pot Luck dinners, and the people. Q this year was unseasonably cold and windy, by all other standards and years I have been here. But I had simply the best time while I was here. I ALWAYS meet great people and characters down in this area that LOVE the outdoors, LOVE to CAMP, and love to share their interests with you, no matter how big or small your budget. Drooled over some Prevosts at the show, some of them with new owners. Had a 3 o'clock social hour with some folks where we were staying, and a pot luck dinner. But mostly, I just had A LOT of fun. As always, the Q is what you make of it. Go out there and get some of it, while the getting is good.
