We did several things we've not done in the past. Spent probably an hour at the Hi-Jolly/ Quartzsite Cemetary this morning. There are "headstones", some from wood, back to the mid. 1800's, others with markers long gone. Lots of miners early on, and more military into the 1940 &50's. This was practice grounds for Pattons tanks around the war, so that makes sense. There is a nice walking "tour" of the place and as much background on the residents as someone's research could provide. Something new every year
