(Yawn) Another day in Quartzsite

- Something came up and we couldn't get on the road today. Hope to catch the last few days.
- We scouted around and realized that with no toad, we had to be in one of the places right by the big tent. So we are dry camping at Rice Ranch. $7/night plus tax for a couple of nights. Seems good enough for this part of the mission. Then we expect to move out to the desert for a couple of days of relaxation.
- My cats will miss me for a bit, no more hot lap or warm furniture for them to sleep on, but I need to get on the road to get down to the Q. Long haul on the I-10, but hey, diesel sure is cheap this year, eh?
Jefe, just look for the Dutch Boy flagpole like guy with the wide "O" oval spare tire attached above his belt. - I'll be there later today. Just look for an average looking average sized white guy. That will be me.

You'll be seeing more than a couple of MHs. The big amateur radio shindig is going on all week there. Hundreds of RVs and just as many huge antenna being constructed. They have parties, seminars. All you could ever imagine about electronics and communications.

Guy I worked for, friends for life is at the Pow Wow show at the Quartzsite Improvement Association building, North side of I-10 at 235 Ironwood St for a Mineral Show. He's hauling about 5 tons of rocks, er... minerals down there to sell.

So I've got a lot of friends in low places down there this year. Need to light a fire under my butt to overcome some stationary inertia and get going.
What is this rock scraped bush you refer to, did you fall on your head and shed some hair off your noggin?- after unloading, cleaning the scooter, and putting in the new battery i bought Saturday in L.A.

Notice my nice rock-scraped bush? - I see what you did there, Jeff.... came out of your shell to kick some RV camping butt, and to personally rub it in, in my direction. How many amps is your iphone 6s + charging at, cause if you keep taking and posting those sunsets, they're gonna drain fast.
I better charge up the FT-60R Yaesu, and bring my bug out antenna for some range for the handi talkie. - OK, WE'REGETTING REALLY TIRED OF THIS. CAN ANYONE SPARE A LITTLE SNOW ?
