(Yawn) Another day in Quartzsite

Thanks SCVJeff. We are going to Rincon next week with retired co-workers. I hope to interest them in a trip to Quartzsite and Joshua Tree. The DW want to go if we go as a group this year.

OH.. And a little plug for the FM station in Quartzsite.. KBUX 94.3
Its a little low power FM station that runs a great original playlist, prettymuch all 50's and 60's oldies with commercials almost 100% RV related (gee, I wonder why). It covers pretty much just Quartzsite and surrounding BLM areas. Everyone that I've told about the station has loved it

Thats what makes it fun!..

We're up off of Plomosa. A little rockier than down south but way less dusty and more room overall. That seems to be where allot of the various rallies gather. Alpine, Alpha, Winnebago are a few that come to mind

SCVJeff, are you going to be in an RV park, Plomosa Rd or High Jolly at Quartzsite?
We've had great weather there the past 2 years, they do get very high winds with dust storms and flash floods, right?

I remember the one several years ago that dropped a tornado between Quartzsite and Blythe and picked up a Motorhome. The outside of the RV looked like your pix too.. a river..
Hoping for a good year. I wanna see at least 30A+ off the solar.

vermilye, suggestion, would have been nicer for a pre - post photo showing the exact area and zoom out.
