Yellowstone area~other attractions we should see

We have never been to Yellowstone and I don't know why but I really want to see it before old age catches up with us. I made reservations for a week, 3rd week of July at Fishing Bridge which I unders...

On the East side of Yellowstone, Cody has the Buffalo Bill Center Museum Complex, Old Trail Town, and the Nightly Rodeo. From Cody, a loop of the Beartooth Highway and Chief Joseph Scenic Byway with a stop in Red Lodge is a nice day trip. Thermopolis has the Hot Springs State Park, Legend Rock Petroglyph Site and the Dinosaur Museum.
