We have never been to Yellowstone and I don't know why but I really want to see it before old age catches up with us.
I made reservations for a week, 3rd week of July at Fishing Bridge which I understand is a nice park within the NP.
As long as I am driving that distance to visit the area what would you recommend we see while in the area.
Will not really add much unless you can add time - I've been to Yellowstone at least a dozen times and see new things in the Park with every visit, so be sure to see all the standards in the Park - Old Faithful - the Falls - Paint Pots, Mud Pots - take a Hike and discover a new waterfall - ......................
On the drive up be sure to stop and Visit the Tetons - Just Special - On the way out - Catch the Beartooth - Then Drive Chief Joseph to - Red Lodge - Cody - Thermopolis - Wind River Canyon - Shoshoni - Flaming Gorge - Dinosaur NM .........
Did I mention you need more TIME, ... My advice is to spend as much time as possible in the park - your week will fly by - and drive through all these other options, to pick for trips, for the next Ten Years, you will not be disappointed.
Once you have been you will understand why so many say "It's BIG" and you just need to Enjoy your time in the Park.
